Hi Andrea! I’m so glad you found this post to be helpful. I’ve had the same experience. Family or friends asking tough questions, and me not being able to give an answer that helps them see the truth. Yes, God has given us the means to defend the faith. What a blessing.

I want to be able to defend the faith I have in Jesus because it continues to set me free. I want others to experience the love of Christ. I have to admit, I’ve had some tough questions from people in the past and the conversations brought me to prayer because I felt unable to give them an answer at that time to help their unbelief. I felt frustrated because it was why can’t you see what I see.

It lead me to question my own faith, if that makes sense. But I see that God in His goodness has given us a means to defend the faith by reading about others who have contended in the past. I love this post it has given me tools to move forward in my walk in Christ.
